With her parents founding one of the top event planning companies in Los Angeles, Allyson Levine is no stranger to the event industry. Allyson worked her first event when she was eight years old, as an Alice in Wonderland character; she marks this time as when she caught the event planning bug, and has immersed herself in the event planning industry ever since. Allyson earned a dual bachelors degree from Washington University, St. Louis in Romance Languages and Literature, and Women & Gender Studies. She then went on to earn her graduate degree from New York University in Media Culture and Communication, where she wrote her Masters thesis on the wedding industry. She later learned the importance of the hospitality quotient while working in New York for hospitality king, Danny Meyer, at Union Square Hospitality Group. A love for decadent food and wine was cultivated when she studied with the VP of the James Beard Foundation in Italy. Now, ten years in the making, Allyson is a wedding planning guru, bringing her keen sense of style and expertise to every event. She likes to flip tradition on its side and transform the experience to reflect the couples relationship and individual style. She firmly believes that a couple should be guests at their own wedding and prides herself in making that happen.
